Halloween is coming and we at Chesham Comedy Club have cooked up a terrifyingly funny line up for Friday October 26th.
Our MC for the evening is award winning comedian/author and purveyor of scary shirts Mr Bennett Arron. Bennett is the world’s best Welsh/Jewish comedian (at least that’s what he told us) fresh from a very successful Edinburgh run. One show was not enough for him, so he performed four separate shows, and has been really looking forward to coming back to Chesham Comedy Club.
Our first act is satirist extraordinaire Mr Alistair Barrie, whose razor-sharp wit and penchant for story telling has made him one of the most in demand acts on the circuit.
Up next is the fantastic Mike Cox. Mike did a short set for us last year, and we enjoyed it so much we asked him to come back and do a longer one. In our view, Mike is definitely “one to watch”.
Finally our headliner is the sensational Ricky Grove. Last time Ricky performed at Chesham Comedy Club he and Ninia Benjamin performed a duet - lucky for us Ninia wasn’t available this month! Ricky is a true legend of the comedy circuit, and possibly the only comedian that was also a hairdresser and a boxer at the same time. We’re just grateful that he has put down the gloves and the scissors and picked up the mic.
