Match report A disappointing result in which the game was really lost in the first 10 overs in which Burnham scored over 90 runs. The next 30 overs saw only another 90 scored with it becoming increasingly harder to score as the ball got very soft and the wicket became totally dead. A bit frustrating.
That saying we did not bowl well at the start and the Burnham openers batted very well with great intent - and their "mixed-aged" team were very proactive in the field and bowled very tightly.
Highlights for Chesham were excellent catches in the deep from the two Charlie's, 2 wickets each for Seb and Ayan and a well-structured, patient innings from Charlie H.
