On Saturday Chesham hosted newly promoted Dinton on an overcast but muggy day for cricket. The Away side won the toss and elected to field first. Chesham started very well with a first wicket partnership of 79 when last week’s centurion Matt Warner edged behind for 23. The middle order stuck together and built the innings around Matt Rance 54, Mark Eteen 40, Jason Rance 38 and a brilliant 73 not out from Chesham run machine Robin Pritchard

Chesham pushed on and scored 263 from their 58 overs and Dinton bowler Faisial Ahmed bowled well 3 for 88 from 18 overs.

In reply Alex Watson had Dinton in all sorts of trouble with taking 3 wickets which left Dinton in trouble at 39/3. Chesham then brought the spin twins Matt Rance 4-61 & Asad Rehman 3-50 who bowled 32 overs between them taking wickets at regular intervals and with 12 minutes to go before close of play Matt Rance took the last Dinton Wicket to give Chesham Victory by 61 Runs

In TVL Div 2A Chesham 2s played out a draw against Marlow. Chesham Won the toss and elected to field first and Marlow scored 287 for 5 off 52 overs with Imran Nawaz hitting  134 and the best Chesham bowling was from Chris Royals 2-95 & Ben Harris 2-48. Chesham Scored 253 for 9 in 48 overs with David Hughes-D’Aeth top scored 84 with Henry White scored 80. Imran Nawaz topped off an excellent day for him by taking 5-73.

In TVL Div 5A Chesham 3s Beat Burnham in a high scoring game. Burnham won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 281 for 8 off 50 overs with Aadil Abdeallah top score of 84. Chesham best bowler was Raheem Mahmood taking 3-17 Chesham then scored 282/8, winning with 1 ball to spare. Phil John top scored with 76 and Jules Swain scoring 57 with Samir Chaudhury taking 2-57 the pick of the Burnham Bowlers.

In TVL Div 8B Chesham 4s Lost to Chalfont St Peter seconds. Chesham won the toss and chose to field first with Chalfont scoring 282 for 5 off 40 overs. Chesham then scored 180 for 7 off 40 with a top scorer Paul Withams scoring 54. Chesham lost the game by 102 runs.
