Chesham hosted Mid Table Harefield. Chesham won the toss and elected to field first and had Harefield in trouble at 93-3 with an excellent spell of bowling from Ashley Turney (2-30).
Enter the spin twins Matt Rance (4-21) and Nouman Aslam (3-18), well supported by Asad Rehman (1-25), who had Harefield in all sorts of trouble and they lost their last 7 wickets for just 48 runs and were bowled out for 141 in under 40 overs and only 4 Harefield batsman made double figures.
Chesham were confident of the run chase. But were soon in deep trouble at 55 for 7 with only Jason Rance 27 showing any resistance to the Harefield attack. Once Rance had departed there was only 3 other batsmen that made Double figures Nouman Aslam 19, Samiullah Sajid 12* and Ashley Turney 16. Chesham eventually bowled out for 104 losing the game by 37 runs.
In Division 2A Chesham 2s travelled to Hayes who had currently not lost a game. Hayes won the toss and inserted Chesham. Chesham scored 239 all out with Mark Eteen scoring 68. Hayes were then bowled out for 135 in 28 overs with David Hughes-D’aeth taking 4-58 giving Chesham the victory by 104 runs
In Division 5A Chesham 3s hosted Farnham Common 3s. Chesham won the toss and elected to bat. Chesham Scored 224/9 off 52 overs with Huzma Alam scoring 55. Farnham Common scored 226 for 5 off 40.4 overs with young Matty Clifford taking 3-47 Chesham losing the game by 5 Wickets
In Division 8B Chesham 4s Travelled to Farnham Common 4s Chesham won the toss and elected to bat. Chesham scored 163 for 9 off 40 overs with Muddassar Latif scoring 40*. Farnham Common scored 164 for 8 off 39 overs with Luke Saunders taking 3-37. Chesham losing the game by 2 Wickets
On Sunday Chesham Ladies game against Abbots Langley fell victim to the weather.
