The under 15s came up short against a strong North Middlesex side in the regional round of the ECB Cup today. After losing the toss some strong early batting in damp rainy conditions allowed NMCC to get off to flying start and despite pegging them back they scored 163-4 off 20 overs. A great start by openers Max Hutt 26 & Luke Dawson 29 saw us ahead of the rate but as wickets fell the chase became harder and despite a good 50 by Mark Newsome the boys finished up on 139. Once again they showed great spirit and commitment and should be very proud of all their efforts today and throughout the year.
