The nets at the club are now open for Chesham CC members to book.

We will be following the ECB guidelines on the use of outdoor cricket practice facilities.

Nets must be booked in advance – please do not expect to turn up and be able to use a net without a booking.

We require a responsible adult to remain present throughout the booking.

The clubhouse/changing rooms/toilets will not be open.

Then contact Lee Wiles, the club secretary on wiles_lee61@hotmail.com to make your booking (maximum length is 1 hour, including sufficient time for changeovers). Lee will confirm your booking and add your name to the spreadsheet.

Summary of rules

The nets can be booked for use by members of a single household along with one person from another household, with social distancing rules being observed.

Do not attend if you or anyone in your household displays symptoms or if your household is currently in isolation.

Personal hygiene measures should be carried out at home both before and after use of the facility.

Bring your own playing/training equipment including balls. No sweat or saliva should be imparted upon the ball.

Please abide by the rules that Lee will send you at the time of your first booking, and please leave the nets clean and tidy. 

Usage of the nets will continue to be reviewed in line with government/ECB announcements.
