A slightly disappointing weekend results wise this week.

The 1st Team were away at Eversley and after winning the toss posted 219 for 9, with Andy Goddard top scoring with 66 not out. This proved inadequate despite 3 wickets from Asad Rehman as Eversley won by 4 wickets with time to spare.

A similar story for the 2nds who posted an impressive 255 for 7 with half centuries from David Hughes-D'Aeth, Ed Turner and Matt Watson. However, in reply Harefield batted very positively and were taken to victory by a fine 72 not out from their skipper Ollie Richards.

The 3rd Team also batted very well, led by a magnificent 121 by Richard Gregory to an imposing 271 for 3 wickets but even this proved inadequate as Chiswick stormed passed their total to win by 6 wickets with 3 overs to spare.

The success this week was the 4th Team who scored 241 for 4 with a brutal innings of 164 from Tom McKinlay leading the way. In reply Marlow were dismissed for just 103 to secure a comprehensive victory.

This week will see important games for all teams but after week 2's rather dubious batting performances good to see all the teams scoring plenty of runs!

Would, as always, be good to see any Juniors or non playing members down at The Meadow on Saturday to watch the game any time from 1 o clock!
